Fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) are a family of 22 proteins (18 secreted proteins and 4 intracellular FGFs) involved in many developmental processes. Fibroblast Growth Factors stimulate growth or differentiation of cells of mesodermal or neuroectodermal origin. We have developed an optimized fibroblast growth factor, a thermostable FGF-2 (bFGF) – FGF2-G3. This innovation was combined with our manufacturing expertise to generate animal origin-free thermostable FGF2-G3 proteins to provide compatibility with stem cell culture process development and scale-up. Additionally, we offer both FGF2-G3 145aa and the 154aa original form so you can compare directly with the wild-type FGF-2 that you currently use and species specific versions.
