Commercial

Digital marketing manager

Location: Cambridge Science Park, Cambridge, UK

Full time, or a minimum of 4 full days, or 5 shorter days per week.
Possibility of hybrid working to include a regular presence in our office each week.

As we enter the next phase of our growth, we seek a skilled and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to build our relationship with existing customers, attract new customers, build brand equity, and drive profitable growth.

The successful candidate will be part of a small, established marketing team reporting directly to the Head of Marketing. The role will be primarily based at our office in Cambridge with the possibility of hybrid working moving forward.

As Digital Marketing Manager you will lead on developing and managing our digital strategy and channels, though you will also use traditional channels and assist with the entire marketing mix as required.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership and development of our digital channels
  • Development of metrics and reports to track results and guide future activity
  • Use of market research and insight to ensure a better understanding of our customer base
  • Collaborating with other members of the team to ensure delivery of a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints including print, digital, social and website
  • Upholding brand purpose, values and corporate social responsibility, both internally and externally.

You will have:

  • 3+ years generalist and/or digital marketing experience, preferably in a large commercial organisation
  • Strong interest in digital marketing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organisation
  • Versatile approach and the ability to work independently
  • Keen interest in life science, ideally with scientific understanding/experience.

Business development manager

Location: Cambridge Science Park, Cambridge, UK

Home or office-based with flexible working, full time, or at least four days a week

We seek an experienced life sciences business development manager or sales professional to build customer relationships and drive revenue growth.

Reporting to the CEO, you will pro-actively build relationships with new and existing customers with a particular focus on the biotechnology market. You will have experience of sales or business development in the life sciences, an enquiring mind and a strong scientific background with interests in areas of science including stem cells, organoids, regenerative medicine and cellular agriculture. Laboratory

Protein Scientist

Location: Cambridge Science Park, Cambridge, UK

Full time, Monday to Friday

As we enter the next phase of our growth, we are looking for a knowledgable Protein Scientist to join our busy Manufacture team. You will hold a Life Science Degree and posess experience in a biochemistry, molecular biology or a related scientific discipline. Experience working in the Biotech industry would be desirable. Knowledge in producing high purity proteins and analysing their quality is essential for this position, with an understanding of scaling up protein production being advantageous. The successful candidate will work independently to set targets and plan work, have great attention to detail, good communication skills and a flexible approach. We are looking for proactive team players with a broad range of skills and definite can-do attitude.

You will have:

  • Experience in recombinant protein expression, purification and characterization.
  • Hands on knowledge in working with AKTA systems, or similar types of equipment, and ability to troubleshoot purification issues.
  • Experience of ELN platform and accurate data collection and presentation.
  • Working with a QMS such as ISO9001: 2015 or ISO13485 would be an advantage
