Senior Protein Scientist (Manufacture)

As we enter the next phase of our growth, we seek an experienced leader to nurture our talented laboratory team and lead the next stage of our facility expansion.
We are looking for an experienced Protein Scientist to join our busy Manufacture team. You will hold a PhD or possess equivalent experience in biochemistry, molecular biology or a related scientific discipline and must have a strong track record of research achievements or experience in the Biotech industry. Extensive knowledge in producing and purifying proteins and analysing their quality is essential, with an understanding of scaling up protein production for manufacturing being desirable. The successful candidate will work independently to set targets and plan work, have great attention to detail, good communication skills and a flexible approach. We are looking for proactive team players with a broad range of skills and definite can-do attitude.
You will have:
• Extensive experience in construct design, recombinant protein expression, purification and characterization.
• Hands on experience in working with AKTA systems, or similar types of equipment, and ability to troubleshoot purification issues.
• Knowledge of ELN platform and accurate data collection and presentation.
• Experience working with a QMS such as ISO9001: 2015 or ISO13485 would be an advantage.

Production Scientist (Manufacture)

You will hold a Life Science Degree and possess experience in a biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related scientific discipline. Experience working in the Biotech industry would be desirable. Knowledge in producing high purity proteins and analysing their quality is essential for this position, with experience of hitting continuous manufacture production targets being advantageous. The successful candidate will work independently to set targets and plan work, have great attention to detail, good communication skills and a flexible approach.
