Fibroblast growth factors
Fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) are a family of 22 proteins (18 secreted proteins and 4 intracellular FGFs) involved in many developmental processes. Fibroblast Growth Factors stimulate growth or differentiation of cells of mesodermal or neuroectodermal origin. Qkine FGF portfolio includes many members of the FGF superfamily: FGF-1, FGF-2, FGF-4, FGF-7, FGF-8a, FGF-8b, FGF-9, FGF-10 and FGF-18.

We have developed an optimized fibroblast growth factor, a thermostable FGF-2 (bFGF) – FGF2-G3. This innovation was combined with our manufacturing expertise to generate animal origin-free thermostable FGF2-G3 proteins to provide compatibility with stem cell culture process development and scale-up. Additionally, we offer both FGF2-G3 145aa and the 154aa original form so you can compare directly with the wild-type FGF-2 that you currently use and species specific versions.
