Platelet-derived growth factors (PDGFs)
The PDGF family is composed of PDGF-A, PDGF-B, PDGF-C, and PDGF-D. These four PDGFs remain inactive in their monomeric forms. Upon activation, PDGFs interact with protein tyrosine kinase receptors known as PDGF receptor-α and -β.
PDGFs play essential roles in controlling cell survival, proliferation, and migration both during development and the process of wound healing.

Our Platelet-derived growth factor family includes recombinant human vascular endothelial growth factor 165 protein, widely used in culturing primary endothelial cells, such as human umbilical vein endothelial cells. It also includes human PDGF AA protein (a homodimer of PDGF-A peptide chains) and PDGF BB protein (a homodimer of PDGF-B peptide chains).
