Qkine IL-2 bioactivity
- Qkine IL-2 (Qk089) was bioactive in a quantitative assay with an EC50 of 49 pg/ml.
- This was comparable to bioactivity of IL-2 from an alternative supplier, which had an EC50 of 57 pg/ml.
Qkine IL-2 was as bioactive as IL-2 from an alternative supplier. Recombinant IL-2 activity was determined using the Promega IL-2 bioassay kit (JA2201). Cells were treated in triplicate with a serial dilution of Qkine IL-2 (Qk089, green) or Peprotech IL-2 (200-02-10UG, black) for 6 hours. Protein concentrations were measured before use (Peprotech vial recovery 105%, Qkine 96%). Activity was measured using Bio-Glo™ Reagent and readings normalised to the maximum response.
