Activin A is a TGFβ family protein. This growth factor is used for maintenance of pluripotency in human induced-pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) and embryonic stem cell (ESC) lines. Also used for stem cell differentiation into endoderm and other lineages.
Recombinant mature domain of human activin A (residues 311-426, Uniprot: P08476) expressed in E.coli (animal-derived component free). Protein is supplied lyophilised with no carrier protein present.
We are making higher purity, more consistent growth factor proteins to improve the success of stem cell culture. All our proteins are produced in-house by our scientists and we provide comprehensive testing data for every batch. Call or email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions.
