Insulin-like growth factor (IGF) family

Insulin-like growth factor is a family of proteins with a similar structure to insulin. This family includes ligands and insulin, receptors and insulin receptor, and IGF-binding proteins. It plays important roles in differentiation, cellular metabolism, proliferation, apoptosis and transformation.

Our insulin-like growth factor range includes human, bovine, porcine IGF-1 protein used in the maintenance of human pluripotent stem cells and necessary for cell growth in the absence of insulin. We also offer a synthetic analog form of IGF-1, insulin-like growth factor long arginine 3, which has improved biological potency and extended half-life.
